Steveston Spot Prawn and Seafood Celebration

Tourism Richmond is pleased to announce the first-annual Steveston Spot Prawn & Seafood Celebration is happening May 6-June 3, perfectly timed with the height of BC's spot prawn season. The ultimate "Ocean-to-plate experience, this inaugural event  is designed for foodies and families alike, inviting people to purchase spot prawns and seafood off the iconic Fisherman's Wharf, meet the local fisher families that serve the region fresh local seafood, and try exclusively prepared seafood dishes at local participating restaurants. The Celebration also includes the chance to experience world-class seafood prepared exclusively for this event at participating restaurants via the  “Dine About” program, and cooking demos where people can learn from professional chefs how to best prepare and enjoy spot prawns.
