Savour a four hour exclusive experience to connect, to create, to taste.

WANDER. BROWSE. GET INSPIRED.

Your day will begin with an exclusive behind-closed-doors visit to a Fort Langley gallery. You'll meet Gallery Owner & Curator Carole De Bathe who will introduce you to a variety of BC artists' works and their chosen mediums. She's welcoming and unpretentious and you'll love how she makes art accessible for all tastes & budgets. While at the gallery you'll be able to choose a VERY GENEROUS GIFT to take home!

THERAPY FOR YOUR SOUL

Next you will head up to the studio of Elaine Brewer-White. Elaine is a graduate of The Emily Carr College of Art and Design and has spent 35+ years creating in clay.

This is SO MUCH MORE than paint-a-pot! Elaine doesn't just teach you how to make something out of clay. She provides you with the CREATIVE SPACE, RESPECTFUL GUIDANCE and HONEST ENCOURAGEMENT that will result in you surprising yourself with the results! And she’ll have some delicious tea brewing throughout!

Oh and by the way, did I mention that YOU WILL LAUGH? Elaine and her husband, Gordon (a Cirque du Soleil performer) have led Comedy Improv workshops for years!

You'll make a functional piece (mug) and a small sculpture (wall-hanging mask). Included is the clay, the tools, paints, glazes and firings. You'll have 2.5-3 hours the day of the workshop and then come back for a complimentary drop-in (for up to two hours on another day to be chosen at time of booking) to complete the glazing process.

AND NOW, THE FOOD!

We are BEYOND WORDS EXCITED to share the details of the culinary component of the day with you!

Alysa Ferguson, Owner and Head Culinary Director at Down 2 Earth Plant Parlour will leave you saying, "I can't believe that it's vegan"! She will be bringing a sampling of many different flavours to sample, both sweet and savoury. And in case you need a little bit of extra creativity, she'll be bringing some creative cocktails for you to enjoy.

She has an easy, friendly manner and her broad smile is contagious. She's not preachy about being vegan. She just lets her food speak for itself! Whether you're plant-curious or just love delicious food you'll gobble it all up! Expect a YUMMY TAKEAWAY from Alysa as well whose dream it is to become a certified vegan pastry chef. You'll agree that she is well on her way!

This day is sure to fill your belly AND your soul!
