BC VQA Wine Information Centre

The BC Wine Information Centre is operated under the umbrella of the British Columbia Wine Information Society, a not-for-profit society that was formed in 1996 specifically to establish and operate the British Columbia Wine Information Centre to promote BC Wines. All proceeds from the BCWIC are put back into the local wine community towards wine information and educational resources. They have contributed almost $500,000 to the local community providing funds for the kitchen/wine sensory lab in the Penticton Campus of Okanagan College, along with providing bursaries and scholarships for viticulture students. The BC Wine Information Centre is considered the 'Gateway to Wine Country' and has become the best retailer of BC Wine in the area.

Their wine fridge is stocked with ready-chilled bottles of white, rosé, and sparkling wine and The Icon Room features only the most exclusive wines produced in BC. In addition, they have a wide variety of wine accessories, local gourmet food products, gift items, and books about food and wine. They can produce custom gift-baskets or select from ready-made baskets that are always on display. You can join their Wine Club and receive regular shipments of the wines that caught our attention.
