The Garden Strathcona
The Garden is located in the historical Strathcona neighbourhood; our space built upon the unceded and traditional territory of the Coast Salish peoples, including the territories of the xʷməθkwəy̓əm (Musqueam), Skwxwú7mesh (Squamish), and Səl̓ílwətaʔ/Selilwitulh (Tsleil-Waututh) Nations.
The idea and concept for The Garden evolved over many years before they actually set shovel to dirt. It is rooted in connection through shared values. Connection to their community, their partners, themselves and to the present moment.
They hope to create a space that resonates with many different people for many different reasons. A space to be inspired, feel relaxed, learn something new, eat and drink something delicious, meet an old or new friend. The meaningful stuff.
