Sheringham Distillery
Sheringham Distillery has been creating internationally award-winning spirits since 2015 on southern Vancouver Island. Founded by husband-and-wife team Jason and Alayne MacIsaac, the distillery has grown from two spirits to now regularly distilling three flagship gins, vodka, akvavit, whisky and seasonal spirits as well.
Seaside Gin, the company’s first and best-selling gin, won World’s Best Contemporary Gin at the 2019 World Gin Awards in London, UK. Created during a stroll on French Beach, the gin encompasses the scents in the air that day, from ocean spray, blooming Nootka Rose, and the evergreen forest. A licensed marine biologist sustainably harvests wing kelp mere meters from the distillery, which is dried, distilled and enhances the botanicals’ flavours. Great on its own, or perfect in any gin-based cocktail.
Kazuki Gin is based on the distilling heritage and botanicals of Japan, including cherry blossom petals, and luscious dried yuzu peel. We pair these with green tea leaves and flowers from Westholme Tea Farm in the Cowichan Valley. Kazuki Gin won a Gold Medal at the 2021 World Gin Awards in London, UK.
This year, Rhubarb Gin Liqueur returns and our new release, Lemon Gin Liqueur makes an appearance. Equally fruit forward, lower alcohol percentage and slightly sweetened, both of these spirits make for easy chilled sipping, and make a quick cocktail by simply adding soda.
