Helena McMurdo

Helena McMurdo is a Vancouver based photographer, food stylist, recipe developer and writer and has been a contributor to Edible Vancouver since Autumn 2018.

Her work is informed by her experience as a passionate home cook and her love of the food cultures of her native and adopted homelands of Spain, Canada, and Ireland.  Her natural approach to food styling is inspired by the simplicity and beauty of nature’s ingredients, which are to be found in abundance, here in BC as well as by the joy and expressions of love and culture shared through food.

In addition to her contributions to Edible Vancouver, she works as a commercial photographer for food-based businesses and enjoys gardening, and connecting with nature in any way she can.
