It’s always a good idea to call ahead, especially if travelling as a group. Check hours or make a reservation to ensure a great experience.
Popular wisdom says you should buy three bottles if you taste a wine you particularly love. One to enjoy within a few days, one to keep for six months and one to cellar for a year. Ask the tasting room staff how well it’s likely to age and when you should drink it for maximum enjoyment. Wines of BC also recommends bringing a cooler as “wine can spoil and boil over in a hot trunk.”
Be safe. Designate a non-tasting driver or take a tour so you can sip safely and tour responsibly.
